About CETA Global:
We’re Re-imagining Evidence-based Mental Health Care

CETA Global sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology, and global mental health — three fields that almost never move fast together. We’re making them move fast together.

The world doesn’t have a shortage of mental health problems. It has a shortage of functional delivery systems that get evidence-based care to the people who need it — including the millions of people who will never sit in a specialty clinic. That’s the problem we exist to solve.

At the center of what we do is CETA (the Common Elements Treatment Approach), a transdiagnostic mental health system born out of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and stress-tested across multiple countries and 6+ randomized controlled trials. Instead of routing someone through separate specialists for trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, and interpersonal violence, CETA equips a single trained provider to treat all of it, together. That’s a fundamentally different — and fundamentally more scalable — way of organizing mental health care.

We build the technology that makes that system scale. CareConfidence is our AI-enhanced clinical decision support platform, giving providers real-time guidance, fidelity monitoring, and outcome tracking. EBT-Sim is a multi-agent AI simulator — built with support from Google’s Gen AI Accelerator — that trains providers through realistic, AI-driven client interactions at a scale traditional training could never reach.

Read This Before You Apply

We’d rather hear from five people who are exactly right for this role than five hundred who might be. So please read this section honestly before you apply.

Please do not apply if:

  • You don’t yet meet the 5+ years of experience described below — “close to it” isn’t a match for this role right now.

  • You’re looking for full-time employment. This is a part-time (40–60% FTE), 1099 contractor role, and we’re looking for someone who wants it that way — not a stepping stone or a placeholder while you look for something else.

  • You prefer a defined process to follow rather than building one. This role sits inside a small, fast-scaling organization where you’ll often be creating the system and thinking out of the box—not just running it.

  • You want a piece of this work rather than all of it. This role spans financial operations, contracts and compliance, and HR coordination — genuinely cross-functional, not a single specialty.

If any of that gives you pause, this probably isn’t the right fit — for either of us — and we’d rather you save you the time. If it doesn’t, we think you’re going to genuinely enjoy reading the rest of this.

The Role

CETA Global is looking for a Business Manager to run the operational and financial backbone of a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. You’ll report to the Managing Director and COO, and work closely with the sales team. Your job: bring order and rigor to day-to-day operations — regulatory compliance and contracting, financial management, project management, vendor relationships, and HR coordination — so our clinical and business leaders can stay focused on growth, partnerships, and impact.

This role is built for someone who thrives in a lean, scaling organization: comfortable moving fluidly and quickly across business functions, and just as comfortable building a process from scratch as following one already in place. You’ll become a key point of continuity across CETA’s growing portfolio of clients, funders, government agencies, and partners.

CETA Global is a small, fast-scaling business, and we’re looking for a self-starter who is energized — not overwhelmed — by ambiguity and growth. We value people who take ownership of problems beyond their formal job description, communicate proactively, and are motivated by building something that lasts. If you like clean processes, hate loose ends, and want your work to have a direct line to real-world mental health outcomes, you’ll fit in well here.

What You’ll Do

General Business Management

  • Run the day-to-day business operations — regulatory compliance and contracting, insurance, software licenses, vendor management, and liaison with the outsourced professionals supporting the organization

  • Own core operational systems and process documentation as the team scales (project tracking, shared drives, SOPs)

  • Proactively manage business operations to support CETA’s evolution, not just its status quo

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Managing Director, and COO

Financial Operations

  • Support budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and client invoicing; oversee cash flow tracking and monthly financial management in partnership with the finance team

  • Manage invoicing and milestone billing across active contracts

  • Track budget-to-actuals on projects, grants, and government contracts; flag variances and support reporting to funders

  • Maintain organized financial records and support annual audit or tax preparation as needed

Contracts & Compliance

  • Coordinate contract execution, renewals, and amendments across client, partner, and vendor agreements

  • Track scope, deliverables, and key dates on active SOWs to help prevent scope creep and missed milestones

  • Maintain CETA’s contract and compliance calendar (insurance, licensing, security/data agreements, certifications)

HR Coordination

  • Handle hiring logistics — job postings, offer letters, onboarding, IT licensing — for 1099 contractors, international hires, and employees as we grow

  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement (software subscriptions, contractors, insurance, office needs)

  • Manage contractor offboarding

  • Oversee HR reporting

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with clinical and implementation staff to ensure business processes support — not slow down — delivery

  • Assist with budget sections of grant and proposal submissions as needed

  • Prepare internal reporting and dashboards on operational and financial health for leadership

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in business management, finance, or office/practice management — startup, nonprofit, healthcare, or professional services backgrounds all welcome

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort owning multiple workstreams independently, with minimal oversight

  • Working knowledge of financial management, including budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting (QuickBooks or similar a must)

  • Experience with contracts, SOWs, or grant administration — especially in government or healthcare contracting — is a strong plus

  • Excellent written communication; comfortable turning rough notes or verbal direction into polished documents and processes

  • Fluency with standard project and productivity tools (Google Workspace, Asana/Notion/Trello, Monday.com, or similar)

  • Genuine alignment with CETA’s mission of expanding access to evidence-based mental health care in underserved communities

Role Details

  • Time commitment: 40–60% FTE (flexible based on candidate fit and workload)

  • Structure: Independent contractor (1099) arrangement initially; may evolve to employee status

  • Location: Remote; occasional availability for team calls across U.S. time zones; must be U.S.-based (Boston or Houston area preferred)

  • Reports to: Managing Director / COO, with regular touchpoints with the Founder & President

CETA Global is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We strongly encourage applications from individuals with lived experience relevant to the communities we serve.

This is a demanding, high-visibility role at a small and fast-growing company — please do not apply unless you are very serious about this opportunity and ready to bring the full range of skills described above.
